Who can request and borrow via LIWA Tipasa?
Registered students, staff and faculty of UAEU.
How many items can be requested?
A patron can borrow maximum of 10 items for faculty member, students and staff per
visit.
For how long can an item be borrowed?
LIWA Tipasa's item can be borrowed for one month for all faculty member, students
and staff. The item can be renewed for two times.
What happens if the book is returned late?
Overdue notices will be sent to the patron as a reminder to return the book.
What happens if an item is lost?
Patrons will be required to pay for replacement of lost or damaged items at their
local library. A default fee is DHS100 will be added to the price of the lost or
damaged item.
What can be borrowed?
All items can be borrowed except for non-circulating items e.g., multimedia materials
and Reference books (e.g., Encyclopedia, dictionaries) and thesis.
