Undergraduate Admissions (Current Student)
- Completion of High School (Grade 12) Certificate, or its equivalent, no more than one year prior to the date of submitting the admission application for the following categories: national and children of national mothers (classified as priority one – P1) students, international students with scholarships, and children of UAEU staff and faculty members.
- Applicants who graduated from private schools that do not follow the government curriculum and those with High School (Grade 12) Certificates issued from outside UAE should obtain equivalency for their High School (Grade 12) Certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education.

- Conditionally admitted students who fail to achieve the English score needed for Direct Admission, or pass the English bridging (prerequisite) course within one semester will have their conditional admission canceled.

Provisional (Conditional) Admission to the College:
- Only students with a minimum High School (Grade 12) Grade of (70%) in either Biology or Chemistry, or a minimum EmSAT score of (700) in either Biology or Chemistry, and a minimum score of (600) in EmSAT Mathematics will be granted conditional entry to the respective programs.
- Minimum High School (Grade 12) Grade of (80%) in Mathematics, and Biology, and Chemistry, or a minimum score of (800) in EmSAT Mathematics, and Biology, and Chemistry.
- To join the program at the end of year 1 in the college, the student must satisfy
the following:
- A minimum university GPA of 2.5
- Passing the Mini Multiple Interviews (MMI)
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Arabic, or a score of (6) in the Arabic Competency Exam
- Passing the bridging (prerequisite) course Arabic for Law (ARBU150).
- A minimum score of (600) in EmSAT Mathematics, or the equivalent mathematics readiness tests including:

- Passing the bridging (prerequisite) course.
Final (Direct) Admission to the College:

Provisional (Conditional) Admission to the College:
- Only for students with a minimum score of (500) in EmSAT Mathematics, or the equivalent

- For the American system or its equivalent: Advanced Placement (AP) with a minimum score of (1).
- For the British system or its equivalent: General Certificate of Education (GCE) with a minimum score of (D).
- International Baccalaureate (IB-High Level Exam) with a minimum score of (3).
- Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) with a minimum score of (450).
Colleges Conditional Entry
- Students who fail to meet the entry qualifications set by the college will be granted conditional entry to the college provided they will achieve the direct entry qualifications stated in the above table or pass the bridging (prerequisite) courses within no more than two semesters.
- College conditional entry does not apply to the Doctor of Medicine program in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where students must fulfill all the program’s admission requirements.
- Students will be allowed to register for the bridging (prerequisite) courses with a maximum of two different courses (zero credit hours) per semester. Students may also be allowed to register for credit courses with no more than a total of 12 credit hours each semester.
- Students are allowed to register for each bridging (prerequisite) course only once.
- In the event of repeating the course; the student will bear the cost of registering for the same course again within the allowed duration (excluding the English bridging course).
Special Considerations
- Admission to the Doctor of Medicine Program in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences is limited to UAE nationals and children of Emirati mothers.
- A native English-speaking applicant who has completed high school in an English-medium school and in a country where English is the official language is exempted from the English admission requirement. Official Native English-Speaking Countries
- Students admitted to the University may earn advanced standing credit for academic work during high school such as the Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), General Certificate of Education (GCE), or any other programs approved by the University.

Applicants seeking a second bachelor’s degree must submit a transcript from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of (2.5), and they will be admitted as tuition-paying students. The conditions stated in item (1) of the Direct Admission Requirements under Article (1) do not apply to this type of application
