Overview

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) operates under the jurisdiction of the Vice Chancellor. The Office oversees academic quality assurance at UAEU and consists of two sections that collaborate to support the University's mission.

• Academic Quality Assurance Section
• Institutional Research Section

The Academic Quality Assurance section oversees the review and accreditation of academic programs and learning outcomes assessment. The Institutional Research Section provides a variety of data-gathering, analysis and reporting services directed at empirically evaluating the university’s administrative and service functions and supporting the evaluation of academic quality. In addition, OIE ensures that the University is well represented to external agencies by providing timely and accurate responses to reporting obligation from government, accreditation bodies, and strategic partners.
