The Media Relations team can link journalists with our academic staff to provide interesting news stories about our work and research. We can also provide specialist expert opinion and commentaries on the news agenda.

We can help with:

Interview Requests

Journalists are allowed to directly communicate with academic faculty members and researchers to obtain the required information, provided that final approval is obtained from the Media Communication Section before publication.

Expert Comment

If you are working on a current news or features story, perhaps unrelated to the University, but you feel you would like an expert opinion we can put you in touch with our academics to provide commentary and reaction to the story.

Filming and Photography Requests

TV producers, camera crews and photographers who wish to film on the campus need permission in advance from the Media Relations team.

Press Visit

We can arrange field trips for journalists who are on the lookout for stories related to their areas of interest.
