The United Arab Emirates University participated in the Make it in the Emirates 2026 exhibition, held from 4–7 May at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, through a dedicated platform showcasing 12 scientific and research projects that highlight the University’s capabilities in innovation and applied technology.
H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to the UAE President and Chancellor of UAEU, stated that the University’s participation reflects its national role in supporting the UAE’s transformation toward a more diversified and sustainable economy driven by knowledge and innovation.
His Excellency emphasized that the participation aligns with UAEU’s mission to strengthen integration between education, scientific research, and practical application, considering scientific research a cornerstone in developing innovative solutions that contribute to enhancing productivity and supporting the national economy.
He further noted that UAEU is committed to preparing national talent capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements and actively contributing to the development of advanced industries through a supportive academic and research environment that fosters innovation and effective partnerships, helping to localize knowledge and technology.
The University’s platform featured a range of high-quality projects reflecting UAEU’s strategic direction toward applied innovation. The showcased projects presented advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, data analysis, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and engineering technologies aimed at improving industrial system efficiency. The exhibition also highlighted smart solutions addressing environmental challenges, improving service utilization, supporting digital transformation, and enhancing operational efficiency across vital sectors. These initiatives demonstrate the integration of scientific research with industry needs and sustainable development goals.
