The College of Science was among the first Colleges to be established since the inception of United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in 1976. The College has five academic departments: Department of Biology, Department of Chemistry, Department of Geosciences, Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Physics

Studying geospatial technologies, and remote sensing in particular, gives me a very
powerful tools to detect, predict and monitor changes, either natural or from human
origin. I hope, through my research at Geosciences department, that I can be part
in protecting our environment and maintaining sustainable development of our beloved
