BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Mohammed Z. Allouh has graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) in 2000. He earned his Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Saskatchewan/Canada in 2007. Since then, he joined the Department of Anatomy at JUST for about 11 years. During this period, he had the privilege of part-time teaching at several other institutes including Al-Albayt University, Mutah University, Xavier University, USC University, and the University of Minho. In 2018, Prof. Allouh has joined the Department of Anatomy in the CMHS at the United Arab Emirates University.
Prof. Allouh areas of research are focused on three main fields:
Experimental Biology:
The research lab focus is on investigating the postnatal skeletal muscle growth and repair mechanisms.
Clinical/Surgical Research:
Prof. Allouh is involved with an international clinical research group in investigating different surgical and neurosurgical techniques to improve operative outcomes and in the evaluation of challenging clinical conditions and their associated risk factors.
Anatomical Research:
As a trained clinical anatomist, Prof. Allouh is interested in investigating the morphological characteristics of different body structures with their clinical correlations and racial variations.
