On Monday, January 26, 2026, the United Arab Emirates University held the Graduate Studies Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024–2025 at the Crescent Building, The Founder Sheikh Zayed’s Hall, in the presence of officials, academic leaders, faculty members, and the families of graduates.
H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, affirmed in his speech that the graduation of a new cohort of graduate studies students reflects the maturity of the University’s academic system and its ability to produce knowledge, enhance research, and align academic programs with national needs and development priorities. His Excellency noted that graduate studies represent a main pillar of innovation, solution development, and policy formulation, and contribute significantly to preparing national cadres capable of actively supporting the nation’s sustainable development journey.
His Excellency also emphasized the University’s commitment to its national role as a leading academic institution in producing knowledge, fostering analytical thinking, and upholding social and academic responsibility.
This year, the number of graduates exceeded 456 male and female students across master’s and PhD programs, including 371 master’s graduates and 85 PhD graduates from various colleges.
The graduating colleges included the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Science, College of Education, College of Business and Economics, College of Law, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the College of Information Technology, reflecting the diversity of academic programs and the wide scope of research fields at the University.
