UAEU Organizes the UAEU Career Fair 2024

Under the Theme "Your Path to the Future
Under the theme "Your Path to the Future," the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) successfully organized the 2024 Career Fair from September 4 to 5, 2024. The "UAEU Career Fair 2024" aimed to provide an interactive platform for students and graduates to connect with leading companies and institutions in both the public and private sectors.
The event was attended by H.E.Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raisi, Acting Vice Chancellor of UAEU, and Counselor Sultan Ibrahim Al Juwaid, Senior Attorney General at the Federal Public Prosecution, along with representatives from UAEU's strategic partners, including the Public Prosecution, Abu Dhabi Police, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, and ADNOC. A total of 40 public and private sector institutions participated in the event, which took place in the Great Hall of the Crescent Building on the university campus.
In his speech, H.E. Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raisi highlighted the importance of the career fair in enhancing employment opportunities for UAEU students and graduates and developing their skills to meet the changing job market demands. He explained that the university continues to pursue strategic partnerships that contribute to raising the competence of graduates and developing their capabilities, thus strengthening their role in national development. Additionally, UAEU remains committed to continuously improving academic programs and expanding research opportunities to prepare outstanding graduates capable of achieving national accomplishments.
Dr. Al Raisi also noted that since its establishment, UAEU has signed more than 700 memorandums of understanding and is currently collaborating with over 5,300 institutions locally and internationally in the fields of education and scientific research. This enhances the university's reputation and affirms its status as a leading national university focused on scientific research and effective partnerships.
The fair saw significant participation from students and graduates, with numerous training workshops and panel discussions held over the two days. These sessions aimed to develop the skills of students and graduates and equip them with the necessary tools for success in the job market. Notable workshops included "The Future of Artificial Intelligence" by the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, "Jobs of Tomorrow in the Digital Age" presented by the Federal Public Prosecution, "Nafis Program Initiatives" presented by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, and "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Jobs in the UAE."
The event attracted 3,500 student participants and featured 45 exhibitors from various sectors. Attendees had the opportunity to apply for job vacancies, explore training opportunities, directly engage with employers, and build a strong professional network during the fair.
