In the presence of Dr. Suad Mohammed Al Marzooqi, Associate Provost for Student Affairs, along with several academic and administrative leaders and students, the United Arab Emirates University celebrated Flag Day. The event took place in the Crescent Building Square on the university campus in Al Ain. The flag was raised at 11:00 AM, symbolizing pride, loyalty to the country, and allegiance to its wise leadership.

H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Advisor to the UAE President and Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, stated, “Flag Day is a cherished national occasion that renews in us the values of pride and honor for the achievements our beloved country has accomplished under our wise leadership, which laid the foundations of the Union and solidified the principles of unity and solidarity. Raising the flag is a symbol of unity and belonging and an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to working diligently toward further progress and prosperity for our country.”

His Excellency emphasized the importance of instilling values of loyalty and belonging in younger generations, affirming that celebrating this event strengthens students' connection to their national heritage and promotes the values and noble spirit of the Union.

In a statement, Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raeesi, Acting Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, expressed his pride in this national event, saying, “Flag Day reflects the deep sense of loyalty and belonging in the hearts of the Emirati people and our commitment to realizing the vision of our wise leadership in continuing the journey of excellence and sustainable development.
