BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Azzam Al Safar received his B. Eng. Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Aleppo, Syria, the M. Eng. in Computer Engineering in 2003 from Concordia University, Montreal Canada. Azzam had many years of professional and academic experience, from 1999 till 2000 he was lecturer and technical support specialist at the university of Aleppo, Syria and also involved in some programming projects with ICARDA (an none profit UN organization). Between 2001-2003; while doing his master’s he had a position as a teaching assistance for undergraduate students at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada By the end of 2004 he joined Telus a giant telecommunication company in Canada west (www.telus.com) where he had the position of Telecommunication Support Engineer till the end of 2005 where he joined Microsoft Cooperation in Ottawa Canada where was working on the Zune project (www.zune.net) Azzam joined the College of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University in August 2007 and he works there as an instructor at the Computer System’s Design track
