External Collaboration

Dr. Saad Harous Research Collaboration Visit to The National University of Singapore :

Dr. Saad Harous, an Associate Professor from the Department Computer Science and Software Engineering, visited the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore twice during the academic year 2016/2017. He initiated a research project in the field of HTTP adaptive streaming for video streaming with Dr. Roger Zimmermann. The aim of the project is to help content providers and network operators to maintain QoE at a high satisfactory level, leading to increase in their business. As a result of this collaboration, Dr. Harous has already published a paper entitled “SDNHAS: An SDN-Enabled Architecture to Optimize QoE in HTTP Adaptive Streaming”, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia.
