Overview

The Chancellor’s Innovation Award competition aims to raise awareness of the importance of innovations, to support and encourage innovators to actively contribute to the transformation of the economy of the UAE into a knowledge-based economy and to contribute to attaining the comprehensive and sustainable social and economic development of the country.

The award will engage students, faculty and employees at UAEU within a framework that supports innovative thinking, scaling, and research that deepens both existing and new innovations to provide creative and cutting-edge solutions to counter challenges in sectors of national priority such as Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability; Renewable Energy; Water and Food Security; Health and Medical Science; Education and Lifelong Learning; Space Science; Mobility and Urban Development; Technology and Cyber Security; Social, Administrative and Economic Growth.

Competition Dates:

First Phase:

• Registration Start: 06 June 2024
• Registration End: 30 August 2024 (Closed)

Second Phase:

• Detailed Application Submission Start: 01 September 2024 (Click Here)
• Detailed Application Submission End: 31 October 2024 (11:00 PM)
• Evaluation End: 15 January 2025
