Dr. Ahmed Alkaabi

Dr. Ahmed Alkaabi is an Assistant Professor in the Foundations of Education Department
at the College of Education, United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He holds a Ph.D.
inEducational Administration and Policy with an emphasis on supervision from the University
of Georgia, Athens, USA (2019). Currently, Dr. Alkaabi serves as the Assistant Dean
for Student Affairs. His previous leadership roles include Director of the Emirates
Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment at UAEU and Coordinator of the Master of
Educational Innovation Program.
Dr. Alkaabi’s research interests focus on school leadership, particularly in instructional supervision, leader and teacher evaluation, induction, professional development, and school inspection. His research has been published in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, including Q1 and Q2 journals. Additionally, he has edited two books on educational leadership and co-authored numerous book chapters. Dr. Alkaabi has also presented extensively at prestigious international conferences.
Beyond his academic contributions, Dr. Alkaabi serves as a reviewer for several high-quality journals and acts as a referee for local organizations such as the Hamdan Foundation in the Distinguished School Award. He also actively contributes to the community as a school inspector, evaluating schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Dr. Alkaabi’s dedication to educational leadership and supervision continues to make a substantial impact both locally and internationally.
