Future Teacher Program Scholarship
The Ministry of Education has launched full scholarships for the Future Teacher Initiative in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates University. This initiative aims at guiding students towards vital disciplines required in the labor market (Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry). This scholarship applies to high school graduates - from public and private schools-of non-nationals: children of National mothers and "residents" in the United Arab Emirates.
Student Eligibility
- The student must be a resident of the United Arab Emirates in the last 3 years and have a high school certificate or equivalent from one of the accredited schools within the country.
- No more than 20 years old.
- The student's average score is at least 95% in the secondary school or equivalent.
- Government Secondary School Certificate - General Stream is not accepted.
- Meet all the admission requirements of the University of the United Arab Emirates.
- Full-time student.
- Applicants must have a valid English grade EmSAT 1250 or its equivalent.
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Exam of Mathematics, or its equivalent, or passing the College placement tests.
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Exam of Chemistry or Biology or Physics, or its equivalent, or passing the College placement tests.
- A minimum score of (900) in EmSAT Exam of Arabic.
- Admission to the United Arab Emirates University shall be subject to the study of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the numbers and specializations agreed upon by the Ministry of Education.

Duration
Valid until graduation as long as student is committed to the Student Eligibility conditions.
Duties and Expectations
- Continuing the program "Future Teacher Program" accredited by the United Arab Emirates University and not transferring to any other program or different major.
- Maintain a cumulative average of at least 3.0 GPA per semester.
- To adhere to the policy of absence and attendance of the United Arab Emirates University.
- Complete 80 hours of community work distributed over 4 years.
- Complete the pre-approved practical exercises during the year according to the training policies of the United Arab Emirates University.
- If the student fails to meet the criteria set out in the contract, UAEU will notify both the Ministry of Education and the student.
- If the student is unable to maintain the requirements to continue the scholarship, the student will pay the required tuition fees for the program, and he / she will not be entitled to return the scholarship.
- The scholarship covers 120 credit hours over 4 years of study. Including repeated courses and not covering other service fees such as housing and transportation.
Documents Required
All applicants must complete the application form. The application must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Copy of a valid passport and valid visa.
- Copy of UAE identity card.
- Copy of birth certificate.
- Recent passport size photographs.
- True copy of grade 12 certificate.
- True copy of grade 10 & 11 certificates.
- An equivalent certificate is required for private schools that do not follow the UAE government curriculum.
- Health insurance cards for Abu Dhabi, or proof of registration until the card is available (if available).
- IELTS or TOEFL grade.
- EmSAT grade certificate.
- Security form (click here).
Deadline
Applicants must submit their online application during the application period announced on the university website, Applicants will be notified of their acceptance after the approval from Ministry of Education.
