Project Description

The objective is to develop research activities in the area of fault monitoring and prognostic applied to a Fuel Cell. The objective is to analyze the Remaining Useful Lifetime (RUL) of equipment based on degradation analysis. The remaining lifetime is typically defined in terms of time, of charge cycles, or of missions.
The main tasks to be developed are:
• Literature review on diagnostic and prognostic for fuel cells
• Modeling of FC and simulation using AMESim and Matlab/Simulink
• Model Validation using a real fuel cell system
• Analysis of fault effects
• Developing fault diagnostic techniques
• Developing prognostic techniques
• Implementation and tests
