The CEC has offered International English Language Tests to thousands of students since 2003 and has now extended these services to the general public.

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS conforms to the highest standards of language assessment. It covers the four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. IELTS is jointly owned by IDP: IELTS Australia, the British Council and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
