The United Arab Emirates has taken center stage as a global epicenter for the promotion, celebration, and cultivation of the arts and the vibrant tapestry of art culture. In the heart of this growing cultural haven, numerous international art and literature exhibitions and festivals have found their home, making it a beacon for creativity and expression. One of the newest is the prestigious Chancellor's Award for Arts competition, an endeavor designed to ignite the flames of creativity and leadership within the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) community.
We have created this award to promote cultural and artistic creation at the university. The Award’s aim is to develop a rich, productive, and sustainable environment for the development of artistic and creative talent. It will support our goal to have the UAEU recognised as a place where such talent is incubated, nourished, and celebrated. We hope that through this award, our students, our faculty, and our staff will be motivated to innovate and produce artistic works that serve the UAE’s national strategy for the creative and cultural industries and promote UAEU as a preferred destination for aspiring professionals of the sector.

Submissions must be sculptural works in three-dimensional form, including but not limited to carving, modeling, casting, assembling, or mixed-media constructions.
