Overview

The English Program aims to equip students with the English proficiency necessary to be successful in their college studies. In addition to strengthening student academic English skills in oral and written communication, the Unit also endeavors to develop other related academic skills, such as conducting independent research, citing reliable sources in the most current APA edition, and critical thinking.

The English Program has highly qualified instructors who utilize current technology in their student-centered approach to teaching. iBooks and online materials have been developed in-house, and the program has in recent semesters to optimize begun to incorporate greate blended learing opportunites campus instruction.
