Overview

To contribute to the government’s efforts towards realizing the United Arab Emirates Vision 2021, the United Arab Emirates University has established the Emirates Center for Happiness Research (ECHR). The UAE happiness Index is one of the key national performance indicators of the Vision 2021, of having a cohesive society and preserved identity.

Therefore, keeping that in consideration this center aims to research and provide appropriate, evidence-based and implementable measures to enhance happiness and wellbeing and resolve the factors affecting them. The center also offers services to agencies and to the UAE community.
