The Post-graduate Clinical Pharmacy Program at the UAEU Becomes the First Worldwide to Receive the Full Accreditation from the American Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) announced that its Post-graduate Clinical
Pharmacy Program (PharmD) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences has received
full accreditation from the American Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
This program is the first of its kind globally, outside the United States, to receive
this prestigious accreditation for a two-year Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Program
(PharmD/Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy).
Prof. Ahmed Al Raeesi, Acting Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University affirmed that the full accreditation of the Clinical Pharmacy Graduate Program by the American Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) reflects the university's commitment to providing high-quality education in line with international standards. He noted that UAEU will continue to develop its academic and training programs to keep pace with the latest advancements in the region. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this achievement, which adds to the series of significant accomplishments the university has attained both locally and globally.
Prof. Fatma Al Jasmi, Acting Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, stated, "This achievement marks a significant step towards strengthening UAEU's position as a leading global academic institution, distinguished for offering innovative and world-class postgraduate programs in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. The College of Medicine and Health Sciences has made considerable efforts to meet international standards in education and training, contributing to the development of a comprehensive program that prepares graduates to address contemporary challenges in clinical pharmacy. This led to the attainment of this esteemed accreditation."
Prof. Fatma Al Jasmi also expressed her gratitude to the college's partners, adjunct faculty, and trainers who provided immense support and helped offer advanced practical training for students in several prestigious hospitals across the country, including Tawam Hospital, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
This accomplishment reinforces UAEU's standing as a leading institution in medical and pharmaceutical education, reflecting the university's commitment to delivering high-quality education that meets the highest global standards. It also highlights UAEU’s success in building strong partnerships with prominent healthcare institutions to provide a comprehensive and integrated learning environment.
