COVID-19 Volunteers Training Workshop

CMHS has joined forces with the Emirates Foundation by providing volunteers basic clinical skills that were deemed essential before deploying them to COVID-19 healthcare facilities. The six basic clinical skills taught in the workshop were: patient assessment, vital signs measurement, first aid, communication skills, nasopharyngeal COVID-19 swab test, as well as infection control and medical waste management.

The Medical Simulation Center provided this hands-on workshop using advanced simulation. The workshop trained 62 volunteers from all emirates.
