The "Year of Zayed" came to celebrate the centenary commemorating the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, who passed away in 2004, that year witnessed activities and initiatives that honor the leader's memory, glorify his impact and legacy, and establish the values he instilled and worked hard to spread.
