Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program aims to develop excellence practices of the federal government through the adoption of the modern fundamentals and principles of excellence and raise awareness about excellence in government work, guiding and developing government entities capabilities through sharing of knowledge and best practices that encourage disruptive innovation and consolidate quality concepts and leadership excellence
Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program seek to achieve the vision of leaders to empower the government sector to excel in its performance, regulations, services and outcomes. The program strives to achieve its vision by implementing the mission statement aiming to reach excellence in the performance of the UAE government sector and its human capital through the application of the UAE Government Excellence Model and launching a diverse and ongoing development initiatives to enhance a culture of disruptive thinking in government work, loyalty and excellence among all government sector employees. This in turn will make the UAE government sector a true symbol of excellence, innovation and development, which will achieve the mission of the "government of the future" to provide a stimulating investment environment that will contribute to the achievement of the happiness and wellbeing of the society, creation of sustainable development and enhance the role of the UAE in becoming among the best countries in the world and a regional hub for the world economy.
In this context, United Arab Emirates University is keen to match the criteria of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program through the ongoing participation in the “Distinct Federal Authority” category to win Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Excellence in Government Performance, in order to achieve the highest levels of institutional excellence through a group of world class provided services which the authority works continuously to develop.
