ShareLab
a collaborative environment conducive of scientific research. Equipment play a vital part in research, we have put together a list of equipment’s that are available in different
institutions for use by researchers.
The ShareLab V1.0 is an online National Research Equipment Sharing system for UAE higher education institutes and other companies working in the research field to reduce the
costly duplication and double purchasing of equipment within UAE higher education institutions and promote the reuse of equipment across the country. Furthermore, the system is
providing a portal search to the public, allowing companies and other third parties to search, request and share out equipment that might otherwise be lying idle.
The system is built using Java 1.6, JSP, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery and Bootstrap technologies. Backend database Oracle 12c, and the system is integrated with Banner and Active Directory.
