Grant System has been developed to automate both Pre and Post activities of Research Funding Process. It is a replacement for the old ERMS System. The new
system development went through 4 phases during the year 2017.
The main functionalities added in each phase are as following:
Grant management system has been built to allow an effective funding process, and to give Research Office a better tool to manage and oversee the process.

enhancement is to adjust the system to align with the latest update on UAEU Financial Policy of Petty Cash. The second improvement is enabling the system via eService. Now the
petty cash requestor can check the status of their requests in which they can see how the approval is progressing, check the active requests required settlement, and view the history
of the closed one. In addition, the approval process of petty cash has been enabled in both eServices and UAEU Mobile Application. This feature allows facilitating the approval
process. UAEU approvers can gain access to the service anytime anywhere. Lastly, reimbursing process has been introduced. This feature assists Financial Officer to manage the active
projects on hand.
