The United Arab Emirates University Launched the “UAEU Global Ambassadors” Initiatives

The United Arab Emirates University and the Federal Youth Authority have launched
the “UAEU Global Ambassadors” Initiative, to prepare a select group of distinguished
university students to represent the university at international events and forums.
The launch event was attended by H.E.Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raeesi, Acting Vice Chancellor
of the United Arab Emirates University, H.E. Saeed Al Kabbi, Director of the Federal
Youth Authority, Dr. Suad Al Marzooqi, Associate Provost for Students’ Affairs, along
with several academic and administrative leaders and students.
In his opening speech, H.E.Prof. Ahmed Ali Al Raeesi, emphasized “This launch represents an important step towards enhancing national identity and empowering our youth to be ambassadors of knowledge and culture worldwide. UAEU, as a prestigious educational institution, operates with an ambitious strategic vision through joint cooperation with strategic partners across various government and private sectors. We aim to open new horizons for our students to learn and develop, providing them with a platform to enhance their leadership skills and build international networks. Through this ambitious initiative, the ambassadors will contribute to knowledge exchange and develop the skills needed to face future challenges, preparing them to be future leaders. These ambassadors will have the opportunity to participate in international conferences and various workshops to build their leadership skills and become successful national models."
H.E. Saeed Al Kabbi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority, noted in his speech that the "UAEU Global Ambassadors" initiative serves as a bridge to qualify young people to be influential representatives of the country in global organizations and forums. By equipping them with effective communication skills, building international relationships, and enhancing their awareness of different cultures, the initiative aligns with one of the key objectives of the National Youth Agenda 2031, which aims to prepare at least 100 Emirati youth. He added, "We look forward to seeing the results of this collaboration with UAEU, a national institution that has been a leading scientific beacon for decades, graduating qualified and creative generations in various fields through its diverse programs and initiatives, and its commitment to innovation to continue its pivotal role in building future leaders."
