The United Arab Emirates University Hosts the 1st Alumni Gala for the Graduates of the College of Business and Economics

The College of Business and Economics of the United Arab Emirates University organized the 1st Alumni Gala for the Graduates of the College of Business and Economics. In the presence of numerous administrative and academic leaders from the university, institutions and university representatives, female and male graduates, higher education students, teaching faculty members and members of the UAEU CBE Alumni Association. The Gala included a panel discussion on “The Impact of AI Revolution” moderated by a selection of distinguished guests in the labour market.

Prof. Mohamed Madi Dean, College of Business and Economics, stated that this gala is a part of the university’s strategic plans and as an initiative of the recently launched UAEU CBE Alumni Association, to enhance communication among graduates in workplaces and among various country’s sectors and institutions and the college to benefit from their scientific, practical, and professional experiences and expertise and to transform them to the students as a motivation for creativity and innovation. He added, the college has been keen on improving its academic programs and courses, by introducing master's and doctoral programmes in a number of disciplines that keep pace with the needs of the labour market.

The college offers 5 majors in the Bachelor’s programme, 3 majors in the Master’s programme and 1 major in the Doctorate of Business Administration. The college witnesses a high turnout of students to join the world of business and economics, in accordance with qualitative outputs under the supervision of elite teaching faculty and researchers.

Dr. Ibrahim Al Kuwaiti, Chair of the UAEU CBE Alumni Association noted that this gala is the beginning of the association’s activities and events, which includes a large number of the College of Business and Economics alumni, leadership and directors and department chairs, employees from different sectors and industries. As well as competent individuals in an aim to connect them with the college through practical communication with programs and training and development of professional skills and academic competencies workshops, in collaboration with the College Deanship, institutions and departments in various sectors of the country. In addition to services and benefits offered to graduate male and female members in training, rehabilitation and professional development programs.
