UAEU Science and Innovation Park Concludes the “Summer Youth Camp” Activities

On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, the UAEU Science and Innovation Park concluded the “Summer Youth Camp” activities, which ran in two periods for female and male students from Al Ain City. This camp provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn and acquire new skills through experiments and project implementation, enriching their knowledge in a stimulating environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Dr. Eissa Eid Alremeithi, Director of the UAEU Science and Innovation Park, noted, “The UAEU SIP seeks to achieve its strategic vision of becoming a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship by conducting programs and camps that target students, encouraging them to embark on entrepreneurial experiences and find innovative solutions to current challenges. These initiatives aim to contribute to community development, empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills required to build a more sustainable and flourishing society." He added, “The UAEU SIP team is proud to provide these educational and development opportunities. Our goal is to prepare national cadres capable of meeting the challenges of the future.”
The “Summer Youth Camp” activities, which lasted for two weeks, comprised a variety of recreational, cultural, and educational activities, including creativity workshops, specialized courses, practical training, and applied scientific experience sessions targeting school students. A total of 19 female students and 16 male students participated.
The camp featured several focus areas, such as modern technologies and entrepreneurship for school students, offering a unique and high-quality experience in developing and promoting entrepreneurship concepts. Additionally, workshops were held on manufacturing using modern technology, covering topics such as design, 3D printing, programming, and creating smartphone applications.
