The Department of Languages and Literature at the ‎College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the ‎United Arab Emirates University honored the ‎distinguished faculty members in appreciation of their ‎efforts and outstanding role in developing the ‎department s programs.‎

Dr. Moza Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of ‎Languages and Literature, honored the faculty ‎members: she said, We appreciate the fruitful and ‎generous efforts in developing the department s ‎programs, your pioneering contributions in the field of ‎research, and your active role in teaching our students, ‎

Dr. Moza Al Tunaiji added: "Honoring is one of the most ‎important phases of life, and we must pay attention to ‎everyone who deserves it, and to everyone who has left ‎a positive imprint in our lives. All thanks, appreciation ‎and gratitude to my fellow professors, wishing them ‎further progress and prosperity."‎

In the ceremony held, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Munajjid - ‎coordinator of the French language sub-program, Dr. ‎Gamal Jaber - associate professor in the department-, ‎Dr. Hala Sharkas - associate professor, Dr. Raja Al-‎Lahani - assistant professor, Dr. Mohammed Zakoud ‎from the translation studies program, and Professor ‎James Aitken, Lecturer, Dr. Doris Hambuch - Associate ‎Professor, and Dr. Marilyn Allen - from the English ‎Literature Program were all honored. ‎
