Project Description

Biodiesel production and area of research is driven internationally by different factors such as the high prices of the petroleum fuels, the limited resources and the health and environmental concerns. The global inspiration is to produce a biodiesel fuel from waste resources of UAE such as used oil and Date waste (bad ones, seeds) that achieve the environment and the health safety without scarifying the operating performance, the existed infrastructure in compression to petroleum diesel, diesel engines. The proposed study is a laboratory work of producing biodiesel fuel, studying the engine performance, collecting the required samples of gaseous, liquid and Particulate Matter for toxicity study.
