Objectives
The secretariat of the committee is responsible for studying educational trends and anticipating the future of colleges in both academic and administrative fields. They will raise recommendations to the Committee of Presidents and Directors of Universities for further study and approval. Additionally, the secretariat aims to enhance work procedures and mechanisms, keep pace with scientific developments, study general educational trends, assess colleges’ needs, and engage in mutual planning to improve various practices.
The Secretariat targets the following:

Coordinating efforts to develop educational colleges in the GCC countries administratively, structurally, academically, and technically.

Developing and introducing joint academic programs aligned with global trends, and according to international classified models and experiences.

Participating in future foresight, enriching educational methodologies and theories related to the nature of work in educational colleges.

Studying, applying, and evaluating developmental plans in teacher preparation programs in the GCC countries.

Proposing educational solutions to technical challenges related to the nature of work in educational colleges.

Exchanging experiences, expertise, and field visits between GCC universities to review achievements in these colleges and communicate with similar colleges regionally and internationally.

Planning and supervising the implementation of scientific meetings that contribute to the development of colleges of education in the GCC countries.
