Omniah Al Qahtani
Omniah Al Qahtani from the College of Education, majoring in special education, her
passion for reading turned into a literary talent, which she refined through the university
activities-organized writing workshops. These workshops provide her with solutions
to guidance and criticism that she was looking for in evaluating her literary works.
However, these works are Instinctively acquired from her father the poet. She has
two stories on their way to be published: the first titled “thirsty” in English, which
is an illustrated story starring an autistic child. The second story in Arabic titled
“What if we are the same,” which aims to promote a culture of acceptance of the other
and the rejection of racism.
Omniah has an ambition and a great desire to make a difference in society, and to
write in the field of children’s stories, which includes an educational curriculum
that contributes to building an educated generation. Being a mother of a child of
determination, she is highly motivated to reflect her own experience in a book.
