Dr. Khaled Madi

was born in Ramallah (Palestine), he got his BA in law from the University of Grenoble (France), his master’s and Ph.D. in Public Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Dr. Madi’s thesis focused on the unique and complex nature of the administrative transitions in the Palestinian territories, and on reforms that should be taken to set up a new administrative and judiciary system in accordance with international human rights.
He also obtained a Professional diploma as a lawyer from The Paris Bar Association. During his Ph.D., he was a teaching assistant for five years at Sorbonne University. In his position as an international expert for the European Union for three years, Dr. Madi acted as a senior legal expert in a multi-disciplinary team to implement a technical assistance project for developing the judiciary system in transitional countries.
His experience as a legal consultant (freelance) for the London School of Economics/ Department of Government has especially sharpened his knowledge of the European Legal System and different regulatory authorities in several European Union countries. In 2017, He joined the UAEU as an Assistant Professor in Public Law.
