Eng. Yasmeen Abu Fadaleh
Eng. Yasmeen Abu Fadaleh is an Industrial Engineer hailing from the University of Jordan, Jordan, with a wealth of experience in various domains. Currently serving as a Strategy and Future Department Expert at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) since 2018, her career spans over 20 years, marked by notable contributions in Strategy and Institutional Performance Management, Internal Auditing, Excellence and Quality Management, Project Management, Business Process Re-engineering, and Human Resources and Organizational Structuring.
Her journey in the United Arab Emirates commenced in 2012, where she held the role of Project Manager at the Ministry of Education (MOE) until 2018. During this period, she played a pivotal role in steering significant initiatives, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of government services.
Eng. Yasmeen's strategic acumen and dedication to excellence were instrumental in leading the university-wide efforts to participate in the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award. This initiative resulted in the university's nomination for the best performance improvement entity with over 500 employees, and three candidates were awarded for The Prime Minister’s Medals in the 6th cycle.
Notably, she spearheaded the establishment, operation, and enhancement of a value-driven Project Management (PM) at UAEU and MOE. Under her leadership, the PM effectively managed strategic projects, ensuring their alignment with the organization's overarching goals and objectives.
She played a key role in developing and implementing crucial frameworks, including the performance measurement management framework, the Project Management Framework, and the Excellence Framework.
Eng. Yasmeen's innovative spirit manifested in the development of a smart application system for scholarship programs, a project that contributed to the MOE winning the m-Government Service Award. Furthermore, her application of the seven-star standards for customer service centers played a pivotal role in the Ministry Customer Service Center in Dubai securing the Global Star Rating System for Services in the federal government's customer service category.
