Artificial Intelligence for Networks of the Future
Smart cities require robust solutions to address key societal challenges, such as transportation, health, education, and security, through immersive technologies like telemedicine and autonomous driving. As these applications become data-driven and distributed, the demand on networks increases, necessitating a paradigm shift towards intent-driven networks capable of autonomously managing and tailoring services based on dynamic requirements. Traditional service orchestrators may struggle with this shift, prompting the development of a multi-stage intelligent service orchestrator. This project aims to advance mobile networks beyond 5G/6G by integrating distributed AI approaches like federated learning and game theory-based learning. The orchestration framework not only manages network services but also domain-specific services such as autonomous driving, aiming to achieve full autonomy in network management and ensuring quality-of-service-aware communication for high-end technologies like Autonomous Vehicles (AVs).
