Chemistry Club

This is a student-based association, led and operated by undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry students, and coordinated by a faculty member from the Department of Chemistry. All chemistry and biochemistry students are members of the club, and the majority of them actively participate in the department extra-curricular activities. In addition, students from the chemistry club also participate in the annual COS Science Day activities, and the annual Think Science Program.

They also perform chemistry-related activities and experiments for school students visiting the chemistry department laboratories as well as performing experiments at local schools. Moreover, the club members organize their own internal activities in consultation with the club faculty member coordinator, such as a research-based seminar series, sanid first-aid and safety workshop, instrumental hands-on workshops, and a CV writing workshop.
