Math Bridging Courses
- These courses target students who have been provisionally accepted into the university's colleges.
- Three bridging mathematics courses are offered:

Students intending to take calculus in their undergraduate studies and who enrolled in the university without meeting the mathematics requirements for their college. This includes students from CBE and CAVM. |
Scoring below 800 on the EMSAT Mathematics exam. |
MATH 099 College of Science (COS), College of Engineering (COE), College of Information Technology (CIT). |
Students intending to take calculus in their undergraduate studies and who enrolled in the university without meeting the mathematics requirements for their college. This includes students from COS, COE, and CIT. |
Scoring below 900 on the EMSAT Mathematics exam. |
- Students who do not meet the required mathematics score for direct admission are granted provisional admission, provided they achieve the required score for direct admission or pass the bridging course within two academic semesters. Otherwise, they will be transferred to other colleges that match their academic qualifications.
- Provisionally admitted students are permitted to enroll in courses for credit, not exceeding a total of 12 credit hours per semester.
- The mathematics bridging course is offered free of charge once to students enrolling in the university in or after the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
- Students who enrolled in the university before the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year can take the mathematics bridging course upon paying a tuition fee of 4800 AED, payable to the bridging courses account via the following link:
- Students may enroll in the mathematics bridging course for purposes of transferring among colleges after paying a tuition fee of 4800 AED to the bridging courses account via the following link.
- Students who do not complete the mathematics bridging course may retake the course once at their own expense by paying a fee of 4800 AED to the bridging courses account via the following link.
