Research Relevance and Potential Impact
The possible functions and roles of the project management office (PMO) are recently realised
by the project-based organisations in the UAE. However, few studies written about roles of the
PMO from organisation’s strategy perspectives. The findings of this research study furnished a
better understanding about the possible PMO roles within the context of the UAE project business
environment.

Career Aspirations
My DBA study gave me an opportunity to blend my professional experience in project management
with academic information. My genuine interest is to bring the acquired blended knowledge to improve
the ability of my affiliated organization and the like in executing its project business in efficient ways
and achieving its strategic goal.
