Research Relevance and Potential Impact
This DBA dissertation contributes to empirical finance within the context of the UAE in addition to
providing a retrospective view of the financial development in the country. Advanced methods are
utilized that allow for asymmetric impacts. Bootstrapping is used in order to create accurate critical
values when the underlying hypotheses are tested. The issues that are investigated have important
repercussions for both investors and policy makers.

Career Aspirations
My long-term objective. I would like to become a teacher and researcher at a university that
characterized with highly academic standard and reputation like UAEU where I can exchange my
knowledge and experience with others who are interested in financial discipline such as investment,
risk management, and corporate finance. Scientific research especially in finance and economic will
play an important key role in maintaining and improving the economy of the country and will help the
financial regulators and policy makers in setting appropriate policies.
