UAE university being the leader in the higher education sector, always require improvements for its services provided to UAEU community. To meet the needs DOIT introduced the
idea of delivering software and desktop as a service. DoIT implemented UAEU Cloud Portal (Citrix) in 2015 with day to day applications & windows 7 virtual desktop. Users can make
use on any of the services on demand within the UAEU network. All these applications were selected based on our user`s requests.

a new operating system Linux (Ubuntu).
The service will be available anywhere on any device on the go. This will give users the ability to access off campus too.
