Network by Numbers
Users now have control of filtering emails from their mailbox itself, with the introduction of O365 filtering, we
have given users the power to control how they want emails to be sent.
O365 end user quarantine app Introduces end user quarantine app so that users can check their own
quarantined emails. Share documents using OneDrive within outlook with the increasing document size,
OneDrive for business made it easy to share content within the organization or external. The same capability
simplifies by allowing users to share the same OneDrive for business content within outlook as an attachment.
Access shared mailbox with your own account credentials
As a preventive measure & enhancing security for shared mailboxes. We have enabled users to access such
department /shared mailboxes using their own account credentials Introducing new Microsoft O365 products
like Teams & Stream With the introduction of these new Microsoft O365 products, sharing & collaboration
of work/educational materials became easy. Right fax integrated with MFP Users can now send fax directly
via Limited MFP, which will save time & efforts for users. We will plan to increase it based on feedback in
2018. Skype for business now used to interview external candidates This year users were successfully able
to interview candidates residing oversees using UAEU SFB. We were able to achieve it with the ability to
communicate with normal skype users ID`s. we have setup VC & Provost Offices with UAEU SFB accounts for
such interviews. Please review punctuations required in some areas.
UAE University has a vast network with many sites under constant operation & maintenance
