She further stated that this
gathering represents the real
expression of the comprehensive
vision of our government, our
ofcials and human institutions
which have never skimped on
providing for our children of special
needs and paving the way for
them to succeed and distinguish
themselves for a better future
as citizens and for the country.
The forum discussed the methods
of teaching special needs students
which provided special needs
teachers, principals, special
education centers, supervisors, and
parents the chance to familiarizing
themselves with the latest methods
to include special needs students
in the diferent educational courses
which support their situation
and develops their school skills.
During the forum, a number of
workshops were held in addition
to an exhibition show casing the
participation, innovation and
work of special needs students.
In addition some specialized
companies displayed the latest
technology in the area of teaching
special needs students.
Finally, it could be said that the
boys and girls of the UAE have
received comprehensive care at
all levels by the government and
Civil Community Institutions. More
forum of this nature that cater for
special needs particularly regarding
UAE has Never Skimped
on its children of
Special Needs
teaching, learning, training and
rehabilitating, an act which as such
is considered a human and noble
goal was encouraged. Institutions
working in the feld of education
should include special need
programs so as to enable them
to provide equal opportunities
in education compared with
other members of society.
