Research Relevance and Potential Impact
This research enriches the current literature on knowledge sharing by empirically testing the
relationship between the antecedents and consequences of knowledge sharing within a new cultural
and industrial context. It also addresses a gap in the literature, where the focus has traditionally been
on macro-organizational outcomes of knowledge sharing, e.g. financial and operational performance,
rather than micro-organizational outcomes such as individual job performance. This study also
attempted to explain how knowledge sharing behavior could influence individual job performance
through the mediating effect of innovative behavior and task-focused citizenship behavior.

In pursuing my doctoral studies, my goal was to change career and join the academia as a faculty.
I have joined Abu Dhabi University as Assistant Professor of Management and aspire to be active in
both teaching and research fields.
