Research Relevance and Potential Impact
The work developed in this thesis dealt with the modeling and fault diagnostic for fuel cells
in harsh environment. Fuel cells are considered as clean power generation technology and
therefore is very relevant to the research activities developed at UAE University and in the
UAE in general. The results obtained in the thesis contribute to the development of fuel
cell technology to make its use more reliable through the monitoring of its behavior during
operation.
